The Yelm Cooperative is a non profit community service organization that sponsors 3 terrific programs dedicated to the physical and economic health of our area. Visit us at booth #50 inside the gym and find out what we’re doing to build a green, organic, local and small farm-oriented economy.
You’ll hear about the Yelm Food Co-op natural foods store which offers Yelm a trustworthy source for natural and organic products. We’ll tell you about the upcoming season of our Farmers Market where you have a chance to directly connect with our local farmers and bring home fresh-off-the-farm foods.
And you’ll learn about our plans for a community food and education program, including a community garden which will teach home grown food gardening and much more! We have a host of great volunteers…maybe you’ll be one of them!

The Yelm Cooperative is now accepting applications for new members of the Board of Directors who can begin serving immediately.
This is a chance for people with leadership skills to join our dynamic, growing organization and help make a real difference in our community. As the Co-op evolves towards its federal 501 (c) 3 non-profit status, several new Directors with the same long term vision established in 2012, are needed.
The Board of Directors oversees operations of the Yelm Food Co-op store, the Yelm Farmer’s Market and this year will begin development of the Community Food Education Program and its Community Gardens project.
If you feel you have the skills and the passion to advance the Yelm Cooperative into its fabulous future, please look through the Vision & Mission statement and then fill out an application (see following links).
