The Yelm Food Co-op began in 2005 without walls or physical structure but rather as idea to create for the Yelm community a central point for its residents to access fresh, local food and other healthy products. The steering committee worked diligently to raise membership seed money and find the perfect location to house the dream. In April 2007, we opened our doors at our present location in Frontier Village Shopping Center, and today we find ourselves simply bursting at the seams with an amazing variety of natural and organic foods and nutritional products.
