Sampling Wednesday: We’re celebrating the FIRST HARVEST of the year thanks to the team at Pleasant Island Farm. Last fall, Brian and team outplanted baby kelp for the first time at their site, and over the cold dark months some magic happened in the water… This beautiful sugar kelp goes straight into our kelp seasonings and kelp chili crisp!
We’re grateful to work with partners who take great pride in their work and are leading the way thoughtfully expanding the cultivation of kelp along the coastlines of this special place @timshel_
