Red Wine
If you like that heavier body and a wide variety of flavor with increased complexity Reds are a great choice. Reds usually contain a higher level of tannins and alcohol.
These qualities come from the fermentation process, during which the skins are left in the tank along with the juice. Bottle and Barrel aging also comes into the mix with air being exposed as the wine matures. This process has a lot to do with the character of the wine.
